Deneka Peniston is a New York City based photographer who has been shooting in the performance and nonprofit space for the past 10 years. Her emphasis has increasingly been to visually promote individuals and organizations advocating for social justice in their respective fields. Whether it be through photojournalistic documentation or portraiture, her use of light, color and at times, compositional perspective works to showcase or mirror each client’s creative intentions.
